An Australian recycling success story

Zi-Argus & PACT

Featuring Industry 4.0

Australia has set the goal for 70% of plastic packaging to be recycled or composted by 2025, and for unnecessary single-use plastic packaging to be phased out. To help meet this target within this tight deadline, the Australian Government has introduced a grant to support the construction of large-scale plastic recycling projects.

One such worthy recipient of this initiative is Circular Plastics Australia, a coalition that operates across 3 divisions – recycling, packaging and reuse. In this case study, we’ll get to the “nuts and bolts” of how Zi-Argus’ Symbiont connects and collects recycling data to create a single data lake for all IIoT connected sites within the plant, and more fascinating details of this award-winning project.
